AUCTION, AUCTION, AUCTION

We held our first, off-site Live Auction Gala on Friday, March 16th at Crow Canyon Country Club.  Over 165 guests gathered to have a good time and give to a good cause.  Most teachers also attended the event, which brought together the Creekside Community.  Then closely following, we held our 3rd annual Online Auction that invited even more people to join in giving for the benefit of the students of Creekside Elementary.  Our auctions brought in over $70,000 in winning bids, buy-now purchases, fund-a-need pledges, sponsorships and advertising revenue.  This was an incredible accomplishment as this is nearly 3 times MORE than last year!  Kudos to Karen Neff & Dana Patterson for their leadership, hard work, creativity and organizational skills to a TEAM of people that helped in the many facets of the events.

We would like to thank all of the people who donated or solicited donations for the auction.  We had a wonderful selection of goods and services this year and that was reflected in the overall total.

Thanks to all of you who logged on and bid!  Maybe you didn't get your item but you did help spark interest.  Don't give up!  There's always next year.

This year in order to help increase donations we held a competition between the classes and grade levels to see who could bring in the most money in items sold at the Live and Online events.  This included classroom baskets, classroom art and individual donations made on behalf of the classroom. The totals are in and the winners are:

  • Highest Classroom Total = Ms. Triebwasser's 2nd/3rd Grade combo class!  Their items were worth $5905.00!  This lucky classroom wins an extra 10 minutes of recess and ice-cream bars one day during the last week of school.
  • Highest Grade Level that brought in $7386.00 in sold items for the auction is......1st Grade!!! This means all of the first graders will have a pizza party with their fellow first graders in the MPR at lunch in June.  Parents will be notified prior to the date so they know not to pack a lunch.

Thanks to the room parents for all of your coordination efforts. The classroom baskets and art projects were truly amazing this year.

Special thanks goes out to those individuals who helped make the Live and Online Auctions a huge success:

Patricia Johnson, Jennifer Sill, Cherie Lee, Camela Azevedo, Margo Christou, Lauren Roth, Cristin Sanchez, Kory Reginato, Rita McDonald, Lisa Berta, Kelly Baylies, Carrie Stuk, Claudette Eastwood, Camelia Avram, Michelle Richter, Mrs. Cooper, all of the wonderful teachers and staff at Creekside who donated their time and creativity, the Room Parents for all of your coordination efforts and finally, thanks to everyone who donated or bid.  You all helped make our auction a huge success.

Get a Great Deal and Creekside Gets More

And the fundraising continues!  If you are looking at buying a new car, our Live Event Title Sponsor, Livermore Audi & manager Adam Levine, will get you a great deal and donate another $250 to Creekside for every car sold if you bring in an auction paddle.  We've already had one family buy a new Audi!  Pick up a paddle in the office if you lost yours or didn't attend the Live Event.

Did you see the thermometer on our website!

Thank you for helping us meet our Fundraising Goal!  You have helped us by:

  • Donating at Registration (most important)
  • Dining Out at one of our special nights
  • Matching Funds with your company
  • Gathering pledges for the Comet Chase
  • Bidding and buying at the Auctions
  • Registering your Safeway and credit cards with eScrip
  • … and so many more!
